ABOUT OUR SOCIALISATION SESSIONS
Here at York Dog Park we think it’s important to be able to socialise your dogs in a safe and friendly outdoor environment. We offer group socialisation sessions for your dog (of any age after becoming fully vaccinated) to be able to do this in our secure dog park facility.
With a maximum of 8 dogs in the group socialisation session you will have the chance to socialise your dogs together with others of a similar size and they will be able to run around the park with other dogs and learn to play together. You might even make some human friends too whilst you're at it!
Socialisation sessions are a great opportunity for your dog to make new friends and improve their confidence. Young and old dogs alike can learn new tricks and social skills from each other whilst having fun in a physically and mentally stimulating environment.
SOCIALISATION SESSIONS FOR SMALL - MEDIUM SIZED DOGS
This socialisation session is recommended for dogs similar in size to the following types of dogs: Spaniel, Cockapoo, Beagle, Miniature Schnauzer, Jack Russell, Terrier, Pug, Lhasa apso, Dachshund.
SOCIALISATION SESSIONS FOR MEDIUM - LARGE SIZED DOGS
This socialisation session is recommended for dogs similar in size to the following types of dogs: Spaniel, Labrador, Retriever, Collie, Akita, Boxer, Dalmatian, Viszla.
PUPPY PLAY SOCIALISATION SESSIONS FOR PUPPIES
This socialisation session is for all breeds of fully vaccinated puppies aged between 12 weeks old to 6 months old.

On arrival to our Dog Socialisation sessions, please park in The Red Lion Car Park (opposite York Dog Park). Once you get out of your car, please ensure that your dog is kept on the lead until you are safely in the Dog Park field and the gate is closed.
We recommend arriving 5 minutes prior to the socialisation sessions starting to give you time to park up and take full advantage of your session.
If you want to bring more than one dog with you just place more than one booking into the booking system. The price below is per dog. All dogs must be fully vaccinated before entering York Dog Park.
We ask that you only bring your dog to a socialisation session if he/she is friendly and happy to be around other dogs. Any aggression shown towards other dogs or their owners will not be tolerated in group socialisation sessions. York Dog Park accepts no liability with regards to damage to person or property.
Your dogs health and well-being is very important to us therefore if your dog has shown signs of being unwell in any way 48 hours leading up to their session, please do not bring them to the socialisation session. You can instead reschedule your dog socialisation session for another date when your dog is feeling better.
When booking please select the session you would like to attend and then click the time where it states how many spots are left in the session. You'll then need to click 'book now' to complete your booking.
